An angel in the late 1970s saved this gorgeous Roman Catholic church, which is an example of European inspired architecture. Originally consecrated in 1901, the twin spires of earth red brick are a contrast to creamy white marble columns and jewel-toned, stained glass windows. Today, Sacred Heart Cultural Center is the venue for chamber concerts, special private occasions, and fashion shows benefiting the community.
