Sconyers throws open the doors on Thursday morning of each week and then sadly, closes them on Saturday night. That leaves lots of folks longing for next Thursday to enjoy some of the best Southern style BBQ ribs, pulled pork tenderloin, and smoked turkey. Round off each meal with a glass of sweet tea and buttery bread. Each platter comes with rice, hash and coleslaw or potato salad.   (© 10Best)

I like Larry, Richard and the old gang but...this ain't even good Bar B Q. They do a decent job on ribs but I have had better Q at 100's of places in the southeast. Heck, I can think of at least 4 places in Augusta that have much better Bar B Q. They have a real pretty building, good service and a name. That's about it.

I was born and Augusta, so I remember eating at the old place. We moved to Va. when I was young. When we get back to Augusta to visit family, we always eat at Sconyers. I love the hash and rice, which I can't get anywhere in Va. The BBQ is also one of a kind. Hope to eat there again soon.

A great barbeque joint serving the best ribs you have ever tasted and the best bbq you will ever eat. famous for their bbq sauce... catered to the white house.
