DOWNTOWN.   Completed in 1888, this historic Austin attraction is an imposing, red-granite structure built in the Renaissance Revival style. This is the largest state capitol in the nation, visible throughout the entire city. The visual prominence of this Austin sight is even protected by law, so you will certainly know where to find it. The grounds at the Texas State Capitol feature plenty of historic places for visitors to tour. This national historic place in Austin is a sure bet for a truly fascinating visit.   (© 10Best)
