UNIVERSITY AREA.   In the mood to view some fantastic art? The Blanton Museum of Art is the nation's largest university art museum and one of the best museums in Austin. The permanent collection at this Austin museum features more than 17,000 pieces of art, from modern masterpieces to priceless works from the past. Most of the collection centers upon European, American and Latin American art, as well as numerous drawings and prints.
