UNIVERSITY AREA.   The Harry Ransom Humanities Research Center, one of the most fascinating museums in Austin, features a unique variety of exhibits. This Austin, TX museum has an original Gutenberg Bible, a wonderful group of modern American paintings, including the Mari and James A. Michener Collection of 20th Century Art, and it also has a very impressive photography collection that includes the first photograph ever made. This Austin museum even has a recreation of the office where Erle Stanley Gardner, the author of "Perry Mason," wrote his stories.   (© 10Best)
