WEST AUSTIN.   One of the most beautiful parks in Austin, Hamilton Pool Preserve is a 232-acre region of green beauty centering on a tranquil pool that is supplied by a 45-foot waterfall. This Austin pool was formed when the ground above an underground river collapsed, creating a pit that filled in to create the feature you see today.
