Spectators at Thunderehill Raceway, a 3/8-mile asphalt stock car race track just minutes south of Austin, will definitely witness "Thrills & Chills" on many Saturday nights during 2008. The first race of the season is being billed as "The First Annual El Zorro Enduro 200." Up to 100 cars will battle for a winner's prize of possible $10,000. It's like a Demo Derby race in a circle - guaranteed to provide plenty of rubbin', bangin' and crashin'. For the remainder of the season, fans can expect close racing action and plenty of crashes.l Thunderhill Raceway is located on IH-35, near the Yarrington exit, just north of San Marcos. It's less than 20 minutes from South Austin - definitely worth the drive!
