Iron Works Barbeque
I have to disagree with JJ!!! I went to Iron Works while visiting from Chicago last summer, and had to go back the next night, I haven't stopped thinking about it since, it was fantastic!!! I also went to Stubbs which was good, but did not compare to Iron Works, if you visit Austin there are two things you HAVE to do, eat at Iron Works and go see Dale Watson at the Continental Club!!!

way overrated. once the nostalgia of the place passes, you are left with the food which is ok, at best....far from any top 10 BBQ i have ever eaten. the beef ribs were huge, but 70% fat and gristle, the sausage was not good. if you must go..stick with the brisket but there are far better places.
