This 100-year-old restaurant in Lockhart, TX does not offer BBQ sauce, and there aren't many side dishes, plates or utensils either. Here, patrons line up and order award-winning barbecue right at the pit, and receive their meat on butcher paper with crackers or bread. We stopped by Kruez' this past weekend and I cannot express my dissapointment. We paid too much money for what we received, the meat was dried out so was the sauerkraut. I wanted my money back and then some. No I do not normally complain and Yes I am a true Texan and know GODD BBQ and this was not it !!!
