This used to be one of my favorites eatery. After my last two visits, I've done a complete 180 turn with my sentiments towards this establishment. I visit this restaurant on New Year's eve with my girlfriend. She's never been here before and I highly recommended this restaurant. After this night, she never wants to go back to it. I understood they were busy, but the service and delays were horrendous. We patiently waited the 45 minute wait for a table. We ordered appetizers and they forgot it 30 minutes after we ordered it. The waitress claimed that the kitchen forgot our order. We finally got the appetizers, and to no surprise, it was ice cold. Another 45 minutes went by and we never got our dinner. Waitress went and checked again and their response was, the kitchen lost our oder. Twice in the same night we got our order lost. After speaking to a manager, we finally got our food 30 minutes later. No surprise but our food came out luke warm. The manager and server again apologized and tried to offer us dessert. We declined, we were frustrated and tired at this point, and we weren't even drinking that night. Not to create a scene, I paid the bill and we left. I later called the manager on my cell phone to rip into her and the establishment. She finally got tired of my complaining, in her view, and got my address to send me a $20 gift card. This wasn't the end of the circus. This past weekend, I took an associate to use my gift card, since my girlfriend refuses to eat there again. No wait this time, but to my surprise, slow service again! We waited 45 minutes again to receive our food. Then, the top of the icing was, they screwed up my friend's order. He is allergic to onions, and nothing on the menu stated that they put onions on their eggs, corned beef hash and potato. We voiced our complaint to the server and he verified that the order wasn't supposed to have onions in it. My associate, who is trying to open a restaurant of his own, showed the server then onions and the server noted to complaint. Nothing was done and my friend was left to eat his meal as is. He sat there and spent most of his time picking out onions from his order. Only eating a 1/4 of his meal, he finally gave up trying to pick out the onions. My order was fine by the way. Then when it was time to pay the bill, I presented my gift card. Well, the experience just gets better. Supposedly their gift card machine was not working so they couldn't honor the card, which they gave me! I was irate and didn't even want to argue with them anymore. Well, I paid the meal on my own, cause it was an embarrassing experience for me with my associate.

Monday morning breakfast. I had the egg white omelet. It was very healthy with fresh vegetables. My wife had the poached eggs on potato pancakes. We are not accustomed to kosher style food (what do I do with this baked potato half?)(what is this sweet horseradish stuff?)but really enjoyed it. The service was excellent. The menu was very extensive. We'll be back for other meals in the future.
