My birthday at malaga
It used to be different when malaga was on 4th street. Now I think they looking for higher posh clients.
Ill give you an example: Went out alone on my birthday to celebrate and decided to go to Malaga and check out their new place. The reason i went out alone is due to the fact that it fell in the middle of the week on wednesday and all my friends were working. (Also, since my brother is a bartender I know how to tip.. 15.00 tip for 50.00 is considered standard for me.)
Walked in....sat at the bar...and this is how the conversation went between me and the bar tender. By the way the place was empty and there were very few people at the bar.
Bartender: How can I help you?
I stated: Hmm...Dos X's, shot, and menu please and....Is everything okay?( i noticed a stress in your voice)
Bartender:NO, there is nothing wrong?
I stated: Well, your voice sounds stressed...just want to make sure everything is cool. (since the place was empty and maybe they were thinking of closing early)
Bartender:Well, i cant do nothing about my voice...are you going to order anything??
At this point i stated: I think.... i should leave... (due to the fact that his voice really sounded stressed and a little hostile)
Bartender: Yeah, I think you should...
i think the bartenders name was steve...
So i left. Vowing never to go back again...Went to eat at a mexican restaurant on the east side where the prices very reasonable and the food was pretty darn good. Then went to jackalobe and 311 where bartender friends bought me drinks for free.
Hmmm,,,now why would i want to go to Malaga???
