3. European Bistro

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Austin area. Tucked away in downtown Pflugerville, it could be easy to overlook, but I'm so glad we found it! The menu has selections from a variety of Eastern European traditions, and includes familiar favorites such as borscht and schnitzel, as well as a few less familiar but equally delicious options and daily specials. The pastry case is always full of homemade treats, and the service is second-to-none. Prices are gentler at lunchtime, but even dinner is not outrageous. I think it's worth every pfenig! This is the perfect place for a special date, with a charming atmosphere and a piano for live entertainment.
