Really, Really Bad
Green Mesquite has had two other locations in the Austin area. They are closed and for good reason. Their BBQ absolutely sucks and their side orders are perhaps the worse in the state. They should be ashamed for putting this crap before the buyer and expecting it to be called BBQ. Most everyone I have spoken to has the same opinion, but instead of writing a review they simply choose never to darken Green Mesquite's doors again. OH - they could care less about what you think. When the management was called about consistent problems, they simply blew it off. I did, only to go to places like Uncle Billie's BBQ right down the street with excellent sides and BBQ. Also, they give a damn if you have a concern. Green Mesquite, take heed!

This place is horrible - do NOT go! If you're in the area and you're looking for bbq check out other places for MUCH better alternatives to a horrible attempt at barbeque.
