9. Nuevo Leon

OMG! I have been a patron of Nuevo Leon's for years. They do have the best margaritas, the best fajitas and believe it or not the best hamburgers which are served with home cut fries; delicious! The front dining area can be a bit loud at times due to the high ceilings and the saltillo tiles. However, the back dining room, the patio and the private dining areas are great. The bonus to sitting up front is that you get to people watch; my husband's favorite pass time. Try it sometime; you won't be sorry!

The strong margaritas and fresh salsa compensate for the lackluster TexMex dishes.
