8. The Oasis

Gets an extra star (or 2!) for the view. An awesome place for drinks at sunset! However, the food is absolutely horrible!

Lunch on a hot day in July. Food was actually fairly good for a tourist stop. Service was good. Chips and salsa were not automatic. Although the temperature was 100 degrees in Austin that day the patio was fairly nice with an abundance of umbrellas. The view of Lake Travis was outstanding and pretty much a "don't miss" if you visit Austin.
