NORTH AUSTIN. Since they offer the best variety, Tien Hong is especially popular for dim sum on weekends. As carts rush to and fro, select traditional Chinese specialties like curry squid, spare ribs, deep fried chicken dumplings, shrimp and cilantro dumplings, BBQ pork buns, shrimp toast, and duck feet in oyster sauce. Even children have fun with this food! The regular menu is vast and includes vegetarian dishes in addition to spicy beef, chicken, and seafood options.
