INNER HARBOR. The original Pride of Baltimore, a topsail schooner built in 1976 and modeled after ships used during the War of 1812, was one of the top Baltimore attractions before it sank during a storm ten years later. Its replica, Pride of Baltimore II has sailed the world as an ambassador of goodwill and is a working ship museum. A fun way to get to know the ship is to actually sail it – both day trips and overnights are available, and you can even rent the ship for special events.
