5. Helen's Garden Restaurant

This restaurant is an old staple of mine--fun dining in a friendly casual atmosphere with good entrees and an excellent wine deal at the bar until 8pm daily--can't beat the wine happy hour ANYWHERE in the city! If the owners are reading, I suggest they bring back some of their old delicious entrees from their honeymoon era-"hearty tuna" and "Moroccan chicken" are sorely missed! Plus, Tim is the best bartender around!

Marvelous place. Specials are wonderful and distinctive. Recommend it to all of my friends and take visitors there whenever possible.
