BALTIMORE.   If you’re tired of the same sandwiches week after week for lunch in Baltimore, give Al Pacino Café a whirl. Intriguing Egyptian décor and unique brick-oven pizzas at this Baltimore café will turn you into a loyal customer. Pizza possibilities encourage a stretch of the imagination with ingredients like tandoori chicken, shrimp, yellow squash and mango chutney. Middle Eastern fare is also available, so if you have a hankering for falafel, you won’t be left hanging.   (© 10Best)

This place is hard to beat for the money... The eclectic pizza served here is better than California Pizza Kitchen by far, and the Mediterranean specialties (such as the hummus, babaganoush and foul -- don't let the name fool you, it's pronounced "fool" and is delicious) are terrific as well.

We had heard that the Mt. Washington/Falls Rd location was a good take-out place that served pizza and decent pasta. It turned out to be some of the worst food I have ever ordered from a restaurant. We ordered stuffed grapes leaves that were dripping with grease and tasteless; broccoli and sun-dried tomato pasta that was overcooked, flavorless and soupy; a crab cake sandwich and fries--only they forgot to include the fries in our order--where the crab cakes (small crusty and dumpling-like) were mostly filler bread crumbs and also tasteless. In addition for all of this really bad food, the check came to $31.00. Maybe they do better with pizzas but the food was so bad I would not give them a second chance.
