My family and I were on vacation from Florida to visit the DC area and were staying in Annapolis. We figured on the first day we would get there and visit the Baltimore area since we were so close. We noticed the Lexington Market made the Top 10 list so we were excited to visit it. Being from Louisiana originally and visiting New Orleans on many occassions we though it would be similiar to the French Market located in the French Quarters. Well, we were wrong. This place seemed like a run down version of a flea market. There were loud people hanging out there and when I took my 7 yr old son into the bathroom it was quite scary. There was an intoxicated gentleman in the bathroom rapping with lots of expletives. We left after only about 10 mins which to the honest was 10 mins too long. We were there on a Monday and should have gotten a clue by the lack of activity of cars in the parking garage. Maybe it's better on the weeked but with our experience this Market by no means should make the top 10 list.
