The Buzz -- Canmore's celebration of the arts takes place in June and encompasses several individual festivals. For fans of visual art, there are gallery walks, art and craft sales, how-to workshops and demonstrations, and studio tours. Performing arts fanatics can enjoy a wide range of shows, from concerts to dance recitals to drama and comedy. There's even a mini film festival for movie lovers. Buskers entertain on street corners, vendors supply great food and beverages, and everyone has a great time. The Information Kiosk is at the Canmore Civic Centre (902 7th Ave). Most events are free, but a few evening performances are ticketed – purchase them at Café Books (826 Main St), Communitea Café (corner of 10th St and 6th Ave), and Drake Inn (909 Railway Ave).
