Somewhat hidden in the Sundance Mall, this compact, low-ceilinged pub is a favorite local hangout. During the afternoon and after work, townspeople head over for a beer or to shoot a few rounds of pool. They also partake of hearty British comfort food, which satisfies hungry workday appetites. The P & T is the beating heart of Banff's seasonal community. It doesn't try to be glitzy, quaint or themed. It's successful because it's a genuinely welcoming bar - where the staff will happily chat with you like old friends and were the regulars will point out the best local runs. All in all, this should be a fixture for all skiers.

It’s not a trip to Banff without going to the Pump. A refreshing change from the cookie cutter corporate pubs that are springing-up everywhere.
