6. Pump and Tap Tavern

The P & T is the beating heart of Banff's seasonal community. It doesn't try to be glitzy, quaint or themed. It's successful because it's a genuinely welcoming bar - where the staff will happily chat with you like old friends and were the regulars will point out the best local runs. All in all, this should be a fixture for all skiers.

It’s not a trip to Banff without going to the Pump. A refreshing change from the cookie cutter corporate pubs that are springing-up everywhere.

This is a wonderful place to go while in Banff, the food is great, the place is well done and the people are fabulous!!
