BARABOO. This lovely store is an ideal stop for home decorating items, wedding and event gifts, and items for the baby. Shop sells a variety of home and kitchen accents, garden and patio items, glassware and linens. For the younger folks on your list, Bekah Kate's carries kids' clothes, books and toys. If you have the time during an extended visit, be sure to sign up for cooking classes.

The shop sells a plethora of items including handcrafted items, wines, home decorative items, and arts and crafts. BARABOO. This contemporary gallery is home to a fine collection of local and regional arts and crafts. Gallery exhibits include a variety of media: pottery, paintings, jewelry, handicraft items, stained glass and sculpture. Located on historic Courthouse Square, the gallery is housed in a lovely Italian-style villa that dates from the late-18th century and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

DOWNTOWN. Not only can visitors enjoy a variety of shops and sights in this quaint business district, they can also take in its unique charm and beauty. Quaint cafes and bars mingle with stores and galleries to bring the Baraboo's downtown alive. Shop owners are friendly and helpful and have the best tips about what to see and do while here. Most of the activity and shops are concentrated between Ash Street and Broadway, from 2nd to 5th Street.

BARABOO. Sisters Mariella and Char have been perfecting the fine art of handbag design for years, having learned their art and zest for life from their mother, Helen. The handbags are handmade and can be special-ordered for events and occasions. In addition to the lovely purses, the sisters also sell backpacks, totes and delightful knick-knacks such as hats and mittens, journals and jewelry.
