2. Barclays Park

ST. JOSEPH PARISH.   This park has lovely picnic areas and tide pools in which you can wade and look for sea creatures. If you didn't bring your own lunch, a local restaurant offers tasty snacks. A word of warning: many feel the surf at this beach is too dangerous for serious swimming – it's best to stick to wading and picnicking!   (© 10Best)

Not for swimming, but fantastic to watch the huge breakers crashing on the reefs. Not a place to be alone.
