8. The Parliament

ST. MICHAEL PARISH.   The Barbadian government is the third oldest in the entire British Commonwealth. This massive Gothic building, erected in 1874 to house the Senate and House of Assembly, is made of local coral limestone. A series of stained glass windows depicts British kings and queens and biblical quotations.
