9. Orchid World

ST. GEORGE PARISH.   A six-acre park devoted to the exotic orchid! No traces remain of the pig and chicken farm that once occupied this site – just beautiful foliage and 20,000 orchids. The self-guided tour takes guests along lovely landscaped paths (be sure to look among the tree branches for a glimpse of some of those gorgeous flowers), past a waterfall and finally through several special orchid houses.
