ST. JAMES PARISH.   The defining characteristic of Calabaza is that it has no defining characteristic, except perhaps excellent food. Visually, the restaurant recalls Morocco, with bright colors and rustic-yet-plush décor. The award-winning chef creates an eclectic menu that is sure to impress – think globally-inspired Continental cuisine. You might start with shrimp tempura with wasabi mayonnaise, or a lush lobster-pumpkin bisque with pumpkin ravioli. Next, you could enjoy saffron pea risotto with grilled shrimp, lamb shank confit, or chicken with polenta and roasted figs.
