6. L'Acajou

ST. JAMES PARISH.   The Sandy Lane Hotel's signature restaurant, L'Acajou (Mahogany), enjoys a prime open-air setting graced by the majestic trees for which it's named. With the ocean just a few feet away, it's certainly a picturesque spot to relish the restaurant's supremely fresh sushi and sashimi, hoisin glazed duck, seared wasabi crusted yellowfin, and pork char sui. Not a fan of Japanese cooking? Never fear – there are several Continental choices as well, such as rack of lamb en cocotte.
