Buyer beware!
A recent purchase at the touted Bridgetown Highend jewelry store: The Royal Shop was a disapointment. They assured me that the look-a-like item of a popular designer was solid white gold and 14kt. yellow gold. These were purchased in good faith on the reputation of the clerk and owner. After the purchace, on further inspection, the Bracelet item was plated silver and the yellow gold was as well. Far less in value than the payment. The three week hassle to ship back the item, argue and wait for a credit, after freezing a credit card charge was worth every moment. Buyer beware! Local residents have heard of this tarnished reputation of The Royal Shop.
