MONSERRAT. Today, home of Benedictine monks, this monastery was originally built at the beginning of the second century. There are chapels and monks' living quarters in the area. You can hear them singing in the basilica every day at 1pm and 7:15pm. The historic Moreneta (the basilica's icon) is displayed above the high altar and draws many tourists.
