OLD TOWN. This 18th century Baroque palace was originally commissioned by Peruvian viceroy Manual Amat in honor of his wife. Luxurious ensemble of period decor. Presently a stamp and postal museum and serves as Barcelona's town council cultural headquarters. Noteworthy exhibition center features work from contemporary Catalan authors. Periodic exhibitions.
