5. Lällekönig

This facsimile of a 15th century gargoyle is located on the corner of a local restaurant named Churrasco. The original mechanized gargoyle was situated on a gate tower on the city's Grossbasel side. It represented a king who stuck his tongue out and rolled his eyes as rival Kleinbasel citizens crossed the river.   (© 10Best)
