Originally built in the ninth century and reconstructed and renovated many times over, this transitional-style cathedral reflects a blend of Romanesque and gothic influences. Only the original portal survived the many restorations. The portal's carved sculptures portray figures from the Old and New Testaments. The pulpit was carved from a single block of stone and dates back to 1486. An 11th-century bas-relief at the end of the south aisle is one of the highlights of the cathedral.

St. Anthony's Church is a relatively modern structure built in the late 1920's. The coffered ceiling above the side aisles and the coffered roof of the barrel-vaulted nave provide rich detailing. Beautiful multicolored windows illuminate the interior of the church.
