Built in 1776, this stately municipal building has aged well and is still employed as the town hall, as well as the office for numerous council departments. Guildhall is noted for its splendid Georgian interior, which includes three massive chandeliers and a series of portraits. The Guildhall also boasts exceptional acoustics, perhaps its most appreciated feature by those utilizing the facility for events ranging from an indoor market to wedding receptions.
