The Museum of Costume is among Europe's finest collections of stylish attire, with items ranging from the 16th to the 20th century. The Assembly Rooms consist of The Ball Room, Octagon, and Tea Room, which were employed for public entertainment during the 18th century. These lavish halls are noted for their grand chandeliers and portraits from the likes of Thomas Gainsborough.   (© 10Best)
