Warm and inviting is how locals describe this delightful restaurant, which is housed in the ground level of five distinct Georgian houses, near the Assembly Rooms. The menu changes according to the availability of the freshest produce, along with some mysterious secret ingredients, which the owner, George Price, can negotiate at the markets he visits each morning. He's definitely passionate about the food served to Wood's patrons. Whether oak smoked chicken with garlic mashers, or lamb basted in Madeira, your palate and your wallet will thank you.
