Extremely Addictive!

"No other sushi compares, honestly. I eat there several times a week..everyday if I could. My sister brought me to Waka over a year ago and I have been seriously addicted ever since. The owner is wonderful, the food is impeccable, and no matter if you are a new-comer or a regular, if it's crowded or not, you are treated like the only people there. You have to try the Hayden Roll, Mango-Tempura Shrimp Roll, Thompson Roll, and Rick Roll..Karadynamite is good is you want some heat. No matter what you order, you can't go wrong. Great sake choices as well. Waka House provides an informative staff, excellent prices, relaxed atmosphere, sinfully delicious food.....*****5 (billion) stars. "

"WAKA is amazzzzzing! I've tried all the sushi restaurants in Baton Rouge and Waka house surpasses them all. Tsunami's good, but you actually pay more for the view. At WAKA House, you pay for an elegantly designed dish that not only tastes amazing (especially the sauces) but is also inexpensive. The setting/furniture in the room is absolutely beautiful and imported from Hong Kong. Don't forget about the Sake Sampler! Oh and my friend also got the chef to cater for her wedding! Amazinggg A+++++"

"I have eaten sushi all over the country from coast-to-coast, from New Orleans to Miami to L.A. to Vegas and everywhere in between, and this is truly perhaps the BEST I have found anywhere. It truly is the best-kept secret in town. The fish is incredibly fresh, the management/owners/staff are extremely friendly and hospitable. You feel as if you are having a meal in their home. I highly recommend the unique 5-piece sushi assortment (served in sweetened tofu "purses"), the mango shrimp tempura roll, and the southern roll (which actually could be served as a dessert, it's so sweet and tasty). I'd eat this place every day if I could afford it. Eat there now before everybody else discovers it... no other sushi bar in town can compare to this."
