BATON ROUGE.   Yep, the concept seems a bit curious in theory, but in practice, Mestizo's achieves quite a flavor coup with its meshing of Mexican and local cuisines. Usual south-of-the-border suspects can be had, but your best bet is to sample the restaurant's creative culinary takes. Among the options are a crawfish chimichanga, a shrimp and crab enchilada, and even a crawfish taco, all of which are quite good.
