4. Caterie Deli and Saloon

BATON ROUGE.   Long-lived and much-loved, this place is a great gathering place for college folks and those just out of that scene. The Caterie always offers a good supply of fun, and its casual ambience means that anyone can stop by and feel comfortable. Although it's more familiar as a bar, the place offers tasty pub fare, including sandwiches, burgers, and classic po'boys.
