GONZALES.   Just outside of Baton Rouge, this popular family-run restaurant has been in operation since 1971. It's a great favorite of families and others in the area, and you can tell by the crowds that show up regularly. Although steaks and chicken are available, the menu specializes in Louisiana-style seafood dishes, including fried shrimp and catfish, po'boys, seafood gumbo, soft-shell crabs, and oysters. We visited Sno's for the first time last night. We have lived in Gonzales for a year and a half and had never been to Sno's. We received a gift certificate for Christmas and decided to go. It was superb! The service was great - the food was great! What a great place - this is our new favorite place! If you miss this one while in the area - you missed a lot!!! A MUST PLACE!!
