5. DeAngelo's Pizzeria Company

I paid $15 for lasagne to go with no side dish and just two pieces of bread. Pretty expensive when I can buy one just as good for $5 and heat it myself. This place is overpriced.

Two of my friends and I have visited the restaurant in Blooming, Indiana three times since it was opened. Perhaps because it was newly opened in a place with few sit-down restaurants, it is always very crowded during lunch hours. My friends and I only dined there once in the three visits, because the front desk people were HORRIBLE: The last time we came in, they tell EVERYONE who came into that the wait time will be 10-15 minutes. In fact, during the thirty minutes of our waiting, they LIED repeatedly to at least a dozen people who came in behind us, even though it is clear (at least to us, that the waiting time is at least 30 to 40 minutes). They offer no apologies for the deliberate misestimating of the extended wait time. They also seem to prefer small groups (i.e. two people) over larger groups. Once, one of my friends visited the restaurants with four children, and was turned down after a long wait. I do not plan to step into the restaurant ever again.
