3. Louie's Cafe

Louie's is a great "hole in the wall" cafe that offers a decent variety of local cuisine. My husband had the shrimp po-boy and absolutely loved it claiming it is the best he has EVER eaten! The environment is fun and young with a large LSU student clientel. Although the cook was fantastic and obviously aiming to please, the waittress left much to be desired. It took us over 20 minutes of waiting after our meal was complete just to get a check. Buy hey, if you are in the mood for just a fantastic meal, a hometown environment, and leisurely outing; Louie's is the place for you!

The food is great but an online menu would help most take out customers in pursuing a expeditious take out experience. Customers then would not have to deal with employees that don't have time to help phone customers.

Louie's is a really cool place to hang out and eat an awesome meal.
