This small but important museum does an excellent job of documenting the colorful history of the Sea Islands. The brass guns at the front of the museum were captured from the British in 1779 and then recaptured by Union soldiers after the fall of Fort Walker. The inside passed as a loft in Greenwich Village for the dinner scene in "The Prince of Tides."
