BEAVER CREEK.   Terrific for beginning and intermediate skiers, Arrowhead doesn't experience the large crowd issues that some of its big brothers elsewhere on the mountain have. However, that doesn't mean that you can't enjoy yourself on the 12 runs here at 7400 feet. The slopes also feature a ski lift, the Arrow Bahn. At the close of the day, the popular Broken Arrow Café, located at the base of Arrowhead, is as good a place as any for a bite to eat, a few brews, and some war tales.   (© 10Best)
