BEAVER CREEK.   If hiking is your thing, this office should be your first stop in the Beaver Creek Village. The Beaver Creek Hiking Center offers guided nature and adventure hikes for folks of all ages, degrees of fitness, and levels of experience, ranging from leisurely strolls to the top of Beaver Mountain (not nearly as daunting as it may appear) to the Gran Traverse Picnic Hike to an excursion intent on conquering one or more of Colorado's famed 14ers. If gear is an issue, don't worry: the center rents out packs, boots, pools, and whatever else you may need.   (© 10Best)
