9. Mountain Musher

BOND.   One of the best ways to explore the gorgeous Rocky Mountain countryside in winter is by dogsled, and this company offers morning and afternoon excursions along a private trail that is off-limits to snowmobiles and other destructive machinery. While out, you'll get the chance to see some of the region's more furry residents – foxes, beavers, rabbits, and maybe even the occasional bear or wolf – and take in stunning views of Vail Valley and Glenwood Canyon.
