BEAVER CREEK.   If this is your first time experiencing a resort like Beaver Creek, you'll definitely want to hit the snow as soon as possible. Before you do that, however, it may pay off to stop by this center for one-on-one or group training. The Nordic Sports Center features top-flight instructors who can teach you about everything from improving your telemark technique to tackling a variety of terrain types on cross-country skis.
