3. Beaver Creek Course

BEAVER CREEK.   This tough, semi-private course challenges even the most experienced golfers with steep, serpentine fairways that are seemingly carved out of the sides of dramatic canyons and daunting mountainsides. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., the course's elevated tee boxes make hitting the narrow fairways that much tougher – if you don't feel like you have control of your big stick, it'd best to keep it sheathed.
