10. Zach's Cabin

BACHELOR GULCH.   One of Beaver Creek's most attractive restaurants, this rustic-yet-modernized cabin offers elegant seating in an Alpine-inspired setting that boasts vaulted ceilings, a large stone fireplace, and fabulous mountain views. Begin your meal with an appetizer of Hudson Valley foie gras or lump crab fritters before moving on to more substantial matters like sautéed sea scallops and wild mushrooms in curried brandy cream sauce, or elk tenderloin encrusted with sea salt and peppercorn. One of the more fashionable ways to get to Zach's Cabin is from the the Ritz-Carlton via open-air sleigh, but arrangements must be made ahead of time.   (© 10Best)
